Stories
Coming up this Thursday, December 18 … get excited… it’s your one and only INTERNS! Yasaman and Krista will be sharing their memories and explaining all they learned at Camp Enterprise. Camp Enterprise is a three day camp designed to teach kids about the free enterprise system while building friendships and team building skills. Your very own Rotary sponsored these two to go to Camp Enterprise. Come and hear their great stories, perceptive insights and hilarious anecdotes in a 30 minute multi-media presentation.
It seems like we've just recovered from the inaugural 2014 Twisted Winter Wonderfest but the 2015 version is right around the corner.  This year, we're focusing on the indoor events only--no dog races, no fish flopping, none of that.  We're going to enjoy the warm indoors and play beer pong. The festivities begin at 6:00 pm on Saturday, January 24.

Our event will feature a field of 16 beer pong tables with 32 or more teams vying for the title in a round robin tournament.  We will also serve beer (dah!), pizza, meatballs (thanks to Tavern 4&5) and popcorn.

Besides the beer pong, the event will feature our first annual Silent Auction. We are looking for each club member to procure at least two silent auction items over the next few weeks.  We have a tracking tool to let everyone know what has already been acquired and what we need to get to reach our target of at least 70 items for sales in the auction. Please connect with John Urbanski to identify the retailers and restaurants that you want to pursue.
Our first Cheese Curds fundraiser was a great success.  We sold 400 bags (200 lbs) of delicious cheese curds from the Redhead Creamery in Brooten, Minnesota. The entire club pitched in and sold our 400 bags in a little over two weeks.  Todd Bollig picked up the curds on Monday, December 15 and by the end of the day, most of the curds were either delivered or picked up.  A shout goes out to Todd for his leadership and help in getting behind this project and gettin' 'er done.

We will add another $1,000 to our coffers for the service efforts of the club here in our community, regionally and across the world.  Great job, Eden Prairie Noon Rotary!
