My Book Day 2009
Nearly 700 first graders from across Eden Prairie were treated to
a day of emphasis on books and reading during the Eden Prairie Noon
Rotary Clubs My Book Day May 8. The students were transported to Eden
Prairie Center where they were given their own book, read to by
celebrities and offered the opportunity to sign up for a Hennepin
County Library Card. The event is part of a national program offered by
Rotary International. Heres a look at the activities.
