Medical Examiner Tour

We had the opportunity to receive a tour of the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's facility from Dr. Andy Baker, the Chief Medical Examiner (ME) for Hennepin County. The tour was incredibly interesting as we learned about the work of the ME, their training, the public health role of the ME and the need for more MEs. We toured the facility that Dr. Baker was instrumental in designing and learned why this facility is a model for future MEs across the country. We all felt very fortunate to have such a dedicated and brilliant Dr. serving our community! Some of us stopped by Boom Island Brewing Company for beverages after the tour!
