Working One Day a Week, the Sweet, Cushy Life of a PastorHave you ever wondered just what a Pastor does aside from worship and preaching on Sunday and the occasional wedding and funeral? Rotary member Paul Nelson, Senior Pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church, will share the fascinating details of the life of a Pastor. Pastors are preachers, visionaries, teachers, prophets, chaplains, celebrants, managers, financial planners, and fund raisers. Ministry can be some of the most challenging work to do, and also the most rewarding. Paul will also share insight into his volunteer work with our Eden Prairie Police and Fire Departments as a volunteer chaplain for the past 26 years responding to crisis call-outs in our community. |
